The Prato, Farfalla and Cielo rugs are inspired by a lively fabric pattern designed by Archizoom Associates in 1967. Archizoom Associates were a design studio from Florence, founded in 1966.
Centro Studi Poltronova is an Italian company created in 2005, focused on archiving the important documents associated with the historic brand Poltronova, making some of it’s furniture and lighting available in the marketplace. Experimenting with its heterogeneous archive to construct a poetic and symbolic dimension of living, they worked with cc-tapis to create a new collection of rugs made by artisans by hand, a collection which defines the bond between people and living spaces.
